Stovetop Cooking Instructions
- In a large skillet or 5-quart pot, melt butter over medium-high heat.
- Add chicken broth (or beer), garlic, and BBQ shrimp seasoning. Stir well and bring to a boil.
- Add shrimp, shaking the pan back and forth to fully coat them in the sauce.
- Cook shrimp for 2–3 minutes, turning frequently.
- Continue cooking for another 2 minutes, until shrimp are pink and fully cooked.
- Shrimp cook quickly — do not overcook or they will become difficult to peel.
- Serve hot in a large bowl with crusty bread for dipping.
Oven Baking Instructions
- Preheat oven to 375°F.
- In a medium saucepan, melt all 3 sticks of butter.
- Add chicken broth (or beer), garlic, and BBQ shrimp seasoning. Bring to a boil.
- After 1 minute, reduce heat to medium-low and simmer for 5 minutes.
- Arrange uncooked shrimp in two layers in a 9 x 12-inch baking dish.
- Pour the hot seasoning mixture evenly over the shrimp.
- Bake for 15 minutes, turning shrimp every 4–5 minutes.
- Serve immediately with crusty bread.
