Fresh Squeezed Lemonade

This fresh squeezed lemonade uses real lemon juice, a simple sugar syrup, and cold water for a perfectly balanced homemade lemonade. Easy, refreshing, and ready in 10 minutes.

Ingredients
  

  • 1 cup fresh squeezed lemon juice about 6 to 8 lemons
  • 1 cup granulated sugar
  • 1 cup hot water
  • 7 cups cold water
  • Ice for serving
  • Lemon slices for garnish

Method
 

  1. In a measuring cup or small bowl, combine the sugar and hot water. Stir until the sugar is completely dissolved. This is your simple syrup.
  2. Pour the freshly squeezed lemon juice into a large pitcher.
  3. Add the simple syrup to the lemon juice and stir well to combine.
  4. Pour in the 7 cups of cold water and stir until fully combined.
  5. Serve over ice with lemon slices as garnish.
