Creamy Crawfish Dip

This creamy crawfish dip is a rich, cheesy Louisiana-style appetizer loaded with crawfish tails and Cajun flavor. Made with butter, sour cream, pepper jack, and Mam Papaul’s Crawfish Pie Filling Mix. Perfect for parties, game day, and holidays.

Ingredients
  

  • 1 pound frozen crawfish tails
  • 8 tablespoons 1 stick butter or margarine
  • cups chicken broth
  • 1 packet Mam Papaul’s Crawfish Pie Filling Mix
  • 8 oz sour cream
  • 4 oz freshly shredded pepper jack cheese
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Crackers or chips for serving

Method
 

  1. In a 3-quart saucepan, melt butter over medium heat.
  2. Add crawfish tails and sauté for 3 minutes.
  3. Stir in Crawfish Pie Filling mix and 1¼ cups chicken broth.
  4. Bring mixture to a boil, then reduce heat and simmer for 6 minutes, stirring occasionally.
  5. Remove from heat and stir in sour cream until fully combined.
  6. Add pepper jack cheese and stir until melted and smooth.
  7. Season with salt and pepper to taste.
  8. Serve warm with crackers or chips.
